This is Me!

I was ordained to the diaconate on Saturday, 1st July 2023 and to the priesthood on Saturday, 22nd June 2024. I am currently serving my title as Assistant Curate in the Benefice of Prestwood and Great Hampden, Diocese of Oxford. I trained for ordination at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield completing 3 years and a BA in Theology, Ministry and Mission.

I am originally from Exeter, Devon and moved to Witney, West Oxfordshire at the start of 2011.

I have a passion for youth ministry, and providing the space and the skills to help the younger members of our congregations explore their relationship with God. Having trained alongside a monastic community, a regular rhythm of prayer and spiritual practices underpins everything I am. I truly believe our corporate and personal relationships with God are the key to all aspects of our life, and it is this reason that I ensure I find time to sit and just be in God's presence - and love a pilgrimage, quiet day, or silent retreat.

Outside of parish life I am a massive fan of theatre, particularly musicals, I am also a big rugby union fan, supporting my home team Exeter Chiefs, and I love a good movie. On my days off it is likely I'll be in a theatre, cinema, rugby stadium or exploring a National Trust Property.
